Don't Even Think About It by Sarah Mylnowski

An entire homeroom of Manhattan sophomores experiences an unexpected side-effect of the flu shot - telepathy!  Although scary at first, the students soon exploit their new power: cheating off the smart kid on tests, finding out if the crush has the same feelings, and catching others in lies.  But soon they discover the pain of knowing who cheated on whom, parents having affairs and what the students really think of each other.

This is a really fun story, mostly because the author perfectly captures how teens really think and talk.  The characters aren't noble or heroic or even smart about their ability.  They are regular kids in an extraordinary situation.
